We've just released a major update packed with features that make podcast listening smoother and smarter. Whether you're commuting, working out, or managing a growing library of audiobooks, these improvements are designed to help you spend less time managing and more time learning.

Smart Auto Downloads
Managing what's available offline has always been a manual chore—adding episodes to your queue, deleting old ones, making sure you have something to listen to on your flight. Not anymore.
This update introduces two powerful download options:
Smart Downloads analyze your listening behavior to automatically download episodes you're likely to enjoy. The more you use Snipd, the better it gets at predicting what you'll want available offline.
Per-Show Auto Downloads let you select specific shows to automatically download their newest episodes. Perfect for those podcasts you never miss.
Your favorite content is now ready when you need it, whether you're heading into a dead zone, boarding a plane, or just want to avoid burning through your data plan.
Episode Lists in CarPlay
One of the most requested features is finally here: full episode list browsing in CarPlay.
Browse your queue, downloads, and custom lists directly from your car's dashboard. No more pre-planning what to listen to before you start driving—just get in your car and choose what sounds interesting in the moment.
Combined with the new auto-download features, your lists are always stocked and ready, even when you're offline.
Enhanced AI for Episode Chat
We've upgraded the AI model powering "Chat with Episode" to deliver significantly better results across the board.
Whether you're asking for custom summaries, generating flashcards, or searching for a specific moment, the new model provides more accurate answers with better context understanding. It's particularly noticeable when asking complex questions or looking for subtle connections across a long episode.
You can also create custom prompt shortcuts for your most common queries—just click "Customize" in the chat interface to set them up once and reuse them with every episode.
Improved Offline Mode
When you're offline, Snipd now surfaces your downloaded content directly on the home screen—no more hunting through menus to find what's available.
It's a simple change that makes a huge difference on flights, in the subway, or anywhere else with spotty connectivity. Your downloads are immediately accessible when you need them most.
Upload Filters
More people than ever are uploading their own content to Snipd—audiobooks from Audible, YouTube videos, lectures, meeting recordings—and using all of Snipd's AI features (transcripts, summaries, chat, one-tap note-taking) on that content.
To make navigating a growing library easier, we've added filters to help you quickly find the content you're looking for. Sort by audiobooks, videos, or other recordings without endless scrolling.
